WHAT IS HAPTIC AUDIO?
Haptic Audio is an immersive sound design method that turns sound into a tangible medium.
Anchored sounds become centre of gravity. Moving sounds around the anchor creates 3D perception.
Haptic Audio is not a plug in or an app you can purchase. It's a methodology that is driven by listening and imagination.
To many people's surprise, Haptic Audio is not always hyper realistic either. Sometimes to achieve a desired state of being or feeling, the sound must be crafted.
i.e. Up close hair raising proximity requires unnatural quiet... which if mixed right can still be achieved in a "perceived" loud environment.
